How to arrive?
You can reach this place by land after going across the Canal del Dique from a town called Pasacaballos, which is 45 minutes away from Cartagena de Indias (route to the Mamonal industrial zone), and then going through Santa Ana and Aralca towns. Also, you can get there by sea after a 1-hour speedboat ride through Cartagena’s Bay from the well-known Muelle de los Pegasos, located in downtown.

Barú Island is one of the future tourist development zones of Cartagena de Indias. Nowadays, it has beautiful white sand beaches, clear water, channels surrounded by mangroves and a spectacular multicolored coral reef.
